At Axis Mason, we believe the future of architecture lies in flexibility, scalability, and sustainability. That’s why we have embraced Modular Thinking — an approach to design based on repeatable, self-contained modules or components.

This represents a shift from viewing a building as a one-of-a-kind object to designing systems that function like well-crafted products — efficient, adaptable, and easy to implement.

Modules are produced off-site in controlled manufacturing environments, allowing for precise quality control, reduced material waste, and significantly shorter delivery times — without compromising aesthetics or functionality.

We integrate BIM, AI, and prefabrication technologies to support every stage of the design, optimization, and construction process.

From an international practice to an independent studio

Axis Mason Sp. z o.o. continues the legacy of the Polish branch of the international architectural firm Axis Mason Ltd. Since 2009, the Gdańsk team has successfully delivered projects both in Poland and abroad, collaborating with studios in London, Jersey, Glasgow, and Durban (South Africa). Over the years, the studio has earned recognition for the quality of its work and professionalism in project delivery.

In May 2024, following ownership changes, the Polish office became an independent entity. Today, the studio is led by Maciej Mazur, former Director of Axis Mason Ltd, and Jan Elert, an architect who has long been part of the Gdańsk team.
