The Waterside Hotel project, located on Długie Ogrody Street in Gdańsk, involves developing a modern, four-star facility on the site currently occupied by existing postmodern architecture.
The new structure intentionally references the historical plot division of the street, a concept that is clearly articulated through the rhythm and composition of the facade.
The chosen materials and architectural detailing blend a contemporary aesthetic with strong, respectful references to Gdańsk’s traditional building heritage. This approach emphasizes respect for the site’s cultural context while simultaneously providing a fresh, contemporary interpretation of the regional design tradition.
